The Management of St. Stamford Modern Cancer Hospital Guangzhou reviewed the provisions and documents of "Patient Service" Section.

On the afternoon of December 21, The Management of St. Stamford Modern Cancer Hospital Guangzhou reviewed the provisions of "Patient Service" (referred to as "COP") section. The JCI counselor, functional department head, department director, head nurse and quality control manager attended on this meeting.

Professor Lin Taijie, Director of the Medical Department made a detailed report about pertinent information on the provisions of COP.

The rules and regulations are the following:

1. There must be a basis on appropriate laws and regulations for all patients to provide a unified medical service

2. There should be a process of integration and coordination on the medical services provided to each patient

3. For the safety of patients under medical care, medical services should be professional under provision of relevant laws and regulations

4. According to the nutritional status of patients, there should be a choice on a variety of foods suitable for its clinical treatment

5. For patient with nutrient deficiency, he/she should be given a nutrition treatment

6. The patient should be assisted for effective measures in control of pain

7. The hospital should provide hospice care

8. The hospital management of organ or tissue transplant project should provide medical resources support

9. Transplantation programs for the implementation of living organ transplants should protect the interests of prospective and actual donors.

These rules and regulations are also includes: the quality improvement and patient safety management;professional quality control management; management committee meeting; patient care policy; outpatient treatment procedures; patient assessment management procedures; hospital management process; Nursing assessment procedures and patient assessment policies.

Professor Chen Zhengyang said that:“St. Stamford Modern Cancer Hospital Guangzhou is accredited by JCI management committee for the past 2 years.” The affiliation with Perennial Real Estate Holdings Ltd. in Singapore and other international advanced medical services has met the international standards, thus, the COP required documents are all complete.

St. Stamford Modern Cancer Hospital Guangzhou was established in 2005. It is a private hospital which utilizes minimally invasive targeted treatments for cancer.
