St. Stamford Modern Cancer Hospital Guangzhou organized “ACC program” to highlight the Medical Treatment Care System

On the afternoon of January 6, 2017, St. Stamford Modern Cancer Hospital organized “Advance Clinical Care” (ACC) program. This program will enables hospital staffs to improve their understanding and knowledge on providing quality medical care services for patients. The speakers were the hospital’s medical department director, Professor Lin Taijie and Nursing Director, Professor He Liangqiong. The entire staff participated on this event.

The directors focused on the six basic elements of the ACC program which includes: 1) Admission screening; 2) Admission; 3) Medical Consistency; 4) Discharge, 5) Referral and Follow-up; 6) Transfer of patients.

The program has two aspects which include:

Medical aspects: patient assessment management procedures, hospital management procedures, outpatient and auxiliary examination between the convergence procedures, patients waiting for delayed treatment policy, informed procedures, outpatient emergency deployment.

Nursing aspect: rescue management system, cardiopulmonary resuscitation plan, ward safety management system, hospitalized patient management system, patient and family health education system, graded nursing system, overall nursing responsibility system, nursing paper writing system, ward safety management system, patient transfer system.
